Pendant 14k Loved Nina Simone

Little Girl Blue, the first album of this famous singer. As a little girl she came into contact with racism, which remained an important theme throughout her life.

She is a supporter of the Civil Rights Movement and even writes some spirited protest songs for that time. She is so fed up with racism in her own country that in 1969 she decides to leave the US forever. She lives in different parts of the world, including for a while in Nijmegen.

This blue sapphire pendant is a tribute to her amazing voice.

Both the gold and sapphire come from vintage jewelry. The pendant is part of the Loved Collection and is therefore unique. The pendant has a small eye. It is put on a chain on request, a larger eye can also be soldered to it.
